The Foundation is not a marketing department for the company. Its mandate is humanitarian: help reach people and communities that viable commercial models alone cannot reach, and prefer interventions that keep creating value after the money has been spent.

The funding commitment
A fixed commitment to humanitarian impact.
Smart X Ecosystem donates 5% of net profit directly to Smart X Foundation. This creates a defined link between commercial performance and humanitarian action.
The Foundation is committed to directing at least 95% of all funds it receives straight to charitable initiatives where the need is greatest. Administration, governance and reporting are limited to a maximum of 5%.

Safeguarding
Safety is non-negotiable.
The Foundation’s operating framework sets zero tolerance for sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment (SEAH). It is designed around established safeguarding expectations used by the Red Cross Movement, UN agencies, FCDO, USAID and EU ECHO.
