Current website storage
The current Smart X website uses limited first-party browser storage to support site functionality. This includes remembering whether the opening film has already been shown and preserving the state of the site music player during navigation.
First-party analytics
The current first-party analytics implementation sends event name and page path to Smart X’s own analytics endpoint. The Smart X analytics dataset records UTC timestamp, event and path and does not rely on an advertising cookie in that implementation.
Hosting and technical logs
The hosting or network provider may use technical logs or service mechanisms necessary for security, delivery and infrastructure operation. These are separate from the Smart X first-party event dataset.
External services
Links to external platforms such as social media or YouTube take users to third-party services governed by those providers’ own privacy and cookie practices. If Smart X later embeds new third-party services that set cookies or similar technologies, this policy should be updated accordingly.
Managing browser storage
Browser settings can be used to clear cookies, local storage and session storage. Clearing functional storage may cause the opening film or media preferences to reset.
